Minneapolis-St.Paul Chapter
Founded in 2000 the Minneapolis-St.Paul Chapter opened its doors to providing Hispanic professionals a resource to network and unite with our community. Our chapter consists of 330 members, 75% of these members are working professionals and 25% are MBA students. We are proud to provide the link between Hispanic professionals in the Twin Cities.
Our local chapter hosts multiple events throughout the year to promote our members. Some of the events include: Meet & Greet Welcoming Event, Hispanic Professional Nights, Holiday Party and many more. None of this would happen without the people who dedicate their time and energy to help make the Minneapolis-St.Paul Chapter successful.
We want to thank our local sponsors for their continued support. Our sponsors are: Target Corp., 3M Company, General Mills Inc., SUPERVALU Inc., State Farm Insurance, Allianz Finance, Wells Fargo, RBC Dain Rauscher, Summit Brewery, University of Minnesota, University to St. Thomas and Hamline University.
The National Organization
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) was created as a 501c3 organization in 1988 to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development. NSHMBA works to prepare Hispanics for leadership positions throughout the U.S., so that they can provide the cultural awareness and sensitivity vital in the management of the nation’s diverse workforce. NSHMBA has 32 chapters in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and membership has grown substantially to almost 8,000 members nationwide.
By 2020, the efforts of NSHMBA and its partners should reflect an increase in the number of Hispanics:
